Minder Research, Inc. has introduced the TireMinder® Wireless TMG400C and TMG500HD TPMS for RVs, motorhomes and motor coaches (up to 22 wheels.) The systems are designed to continuously monitor tire pressure and temperature, and offer both visual and audible warnings if pressure drops or if temperature exceeds 167F (blow-out warning.)

The TMG400C (0 to 145 psi) includes four screw-on pressure/temperature transmitters with replaceable lithium batteries. The TMG500HD (0-233 psi) includes six permanently sealed transmitters with a five-year minimum life expectancy. Both include an easy to read monitor, multi-angle bracket, and a 12/24-volt car charger.

Lance Model 1181 (by Lance Camper)

The new 2011 Lance Model 1181 has been introduced and features nearly every option offered by Lance. The 1181 is a rear entry 11'6" Cabover truck camper with fiberglass siding, all aluminum construction, single slide out and a TPO roof. The camper is designed to be paired with a 1-ton dual rear wheel or larger full size truck. This camper rolled out of the Lance facility on 5/19/2010 with a destination of Galaxy Campers in Southern California. The camper was inspected and set up for customer delivery by Galaxy Campers on Saturday May 22nd 2010. Eric Dye and the LOA took delivery of the camper on May 23rd 2010. The truck it is paired with is a 2003 Chevrolet 3500 diesel, dual rear wheel, full size pick up truck.The truck is outfitted with air bag suspension, Hellwig rear sway bar, Happijac front tie downs, Torklift rear tie downs and Torklift Fast Gun turnbuckle system.

This is a flagship camper and will, no doubt, bring Eric Dye and the Lance Owners of America many years of Lance camping fun.

Sea Kayak Adventures

Sea Kayak Adventures, Inc. invites outdoor-minded folks to join its five and six-day fully guided paddling trips through the wilds of British Columbia's Johnstone Strait off northern Vancouver Island. This narrow sheltered orca freeway is world renowned for its summer congregations of hundreds of "killer whales" following the salmon runs funneled from the sea into this specific area. In fact, Canada is the first and only country in the world to establish and maintain an orca preserve there. The Michael Biggs Robson Bight Orca Preserve is set aside specifically for this unique species called "northern resident orcas."

Participants will paddle two-person sea kayaks through the glacier-carved waterways between Vancouver Island and the rugged mountains of mainland British Columbia. Along the way, they'll get close to wild orcas, as the strait is a traditional gathering place for these whales. Guides scan the calm waters for spouts and point out whale behavior. Bald eagles dot the towering trees along the shore, feasting as do the orcas on the prolific salmon runs here.

The group will also explore the area's rainforest on foot, visit the ancient First Nations sites, visit orca researchers and hopefully glimpse a black bear from their kayaks. Each night, they'll camp on secluded island beaches where they can watch orcas from their tents.
