Surrounded by scenic and historic sites, visitors can go whale watching, hiking, biking, saltwater fishing and swimming in the summer. See our recreation staff for special handouts about area activities you won’t want to miss. Many of the local stores are now open in Seaside, and we have one of the very best beaches on Oregon’s beautiful north coast. Stroll down historic Seaside’s Boardwalk or tour Lewis and Clark’s nearby Fort Clatsop and their Saltworks on the Seaside beach. Whatever your pleasure, you’ll find it here at this lovely spot.

From Portland: Take Hwy. 26 west to Hwy. 101. Follow Hwy. 101 north to Seaside. At 12th Ave., turn right (east). Resort is a few blocks ahead on the right.
