This peaceful 180-acre campground offers a wonderful yearround climate with pools, saunas, miniature golf, hiking and biking areas, youth and adult centers and plenty of room to relax. Pio Pico is a short drive from fishing at Otay Lakes, swimming at area beaches, shopping in Mexico and sightseeing in San Diego.
Campsites: 177 full hookups, 250 power and water only, 20 overflow sites.
Rentals: 23 trailers, 6 Getaway cabins.

From San Diego: Take I-805 south to the Telegraph Canyon Road exit and travel east. Continue straight on Telegraph Canyon Road, which becomes Otay Lakes Road. Follow for about 17 miles to the preserve.
From Jamul: Take Hwy. 94 south to Otay Lakes Road, turn right and follow about three miles to the preserve.
