The snowcapped peaks of the Cascade Range provide a stunning backdrop to this Skagit River Valley preserve. Its lush forests make for private campsites and plenty of hiking trails. Golf and fishing are available nearby, as are ferries to the San Juan Islands. Minutes away are the Skagit Valley bulb farms whose spectacular blooms are celebrated every spring during the month-week Tulip Festival. This preserve is also located 1/4 mile from a casino with shuttle service provided.
Campsites: 227 power and water only.
Rentals: 10 trailers, 3 yurts.

From I-5: Take I-5 to Exit 236 (Bow Hill) 10 miles north of Mount Vernon and 16 miles south of Bellingham. Drive east on Bow Hill Rd. to stoplight. Turn left at the stoplight and right at the 3-way stop on Darrk Lane. Proceed 3/4 mile to the Ranger Station.
