June 12-13: Castaway Weekend featuring “Survivor Games,” nature hikes and fort building and “Survivor Night” on Saturday where we’ll announce this year’s winners.
June 18: Kid’s Extreme Night in our South Clubhouse – kids gear up for a night just for them. Bring swimsuit and towel and enjoy crazy games, snacks, and a great movie. Parents can enjoy the night off.
June 19-21: Beach Bash Weekend featuring fun bingo game and sand castle building. On Saturday it’s a “Beach Bash Party” in the South Clubhouse. Sunday is Dad’s day and we’ll celebrate with free ice cream sundae at 2 p.m. in the South Clubhouse.
June 26-27: Tropical breezes are swaying this weekend so enjoy a smoothie or kids can take a dip in the slide pool. On Saturday Nehemiah Brown performs your favorites in the South Clubhouse at 7 p.m.

June 13: Miles of kites on the beach during this kite flying competition with free lessons, displays and more. Flag Day Parade through the streets of Ocean Shores with a dance from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Convention Center.

Check our Rock Garden, outside the pool lodge. For the second year, we encourage our guests to find a special “flat” rock of any shape or size, bring it to the Pool Lodge during craft time and work with our staff to design, create and decorate. Our team of special judges will be judging your creations for first, second and third place prizes. You don’t have to be present during the judging – we will make sure you receive your award.
Annual Taste of Sedona

June 5-7: Survivor Weekend kicks off with a Friday night Taco Potluck Social – are you brave enough to try our Hot, Hot and Hotter Salsa or will you stick with the mild? On Saturday we’ll introduce our newest weekend activity - the Lake Minden Survivor. Teams will compete for awards and immunity from eviction from the game. You can also challenge your cleverness with our weekend long treasure hunt when a new and puzzling clue will be posted
June 5-7: Let’s Go to the Races Weekend: Join us for some fun racing games and create your own horse picture to take home with you. Donald Prieto will be here as the “King of Rock and Roll – Elvis Presley.” There will be a whole lot of shaking going on as we rock the night away with great music, a warm fire, marshmallows and hayrides.
June 12-14: Take Me Out to the Ballgame Weekend: with baseball season in full swing we will feature our bat decorating event and more baseball fun. The Corvairs entertain on Saturday evening and we’ll have manager’s hayride and campfire with plenty of marshmallows roasting.
June 19-21: Father’s Day Weekend: Join us as we celebrate those wonderful men that we call Dad and Grandpa. Bring information concerning you family tree and we will create one for you to give to your Dad or Grandpa as a reminder of his great family. The Dancing DJ will be providing music, fun and games on Saturday evening while the campfire burns, the marshmallows roast and the hayride rolls.
June 26-28: Yee Haw Western Weekend featuring “spirit of the west” events including roping, water pistol duels and stick horse races. Saturday night has plenty of country songs, manager’s hayride and marshmallow roasting.
June 13: Cosmic Carnival: the aliens return as a Ponderosa tradition continues. The fun starts out with flying saucer golf; then join our extra-terrestrial guests as they host you in all your favorite cosmic games, including spaceballs, intergalactic shooting range, flying saucer throw, Rings of Saturn toss and more!
June 20-21: Father’s Day events – walk the trails with Dad, design a personalized gift, or help him fill his tummy by treating him to an ice cream at our social or a meal at our barbecue; Gary Burnett returns to perform Saturday night. Breakfast discount for Dads on Sunday morning.
June 27: Ponderosa Paradise - the greatest discovery in the history of the state of California occurred a mile and a half away from our preserve – the discovery of gold! Join us as we caravan to Marshall State Park and take in the sights and sounds of Coloma, our historic Gold Rush town. Back at the preserve take in some local culture as Ponderosa favorite Lumadae performs.

Placerville Founders’ Day and Highway 50 Association Wagon Train
To celebrate Founders’ Day, this street fair features living history exhibits, gold-panning, fire engine displays, a dunk tank, a costume contest, music, antique farm equipment, banners display and more. Event is free to the public. The Broadway Association will be hosting a craft fair and chili cook-off from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mountain Democrat parking lot. The Placerville Drive Business Association will host a BBQ and dance in the evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the County Faire Shopping Center. Texoma Fun Fish for Kids
Come fish for the many types of fish that lurk in the deep blue waters of Lake Texoma. Brings your own pole or use one provided by the park. All bait is provided. Fishing will be done from an enclosed floating boathouse. Educational games and fishing-related activities will be held immediately after the fishing derby.
